Fingerprint Lock option is provided for Android Beta users and will be available to all users. A new option is already available for iPhone users.
How to download beta version
Download WhatsApp beta 2.19.221 version,
Select WhatsApp Settings-Account-Privacy-Fingerprint Lock Feature.
Then enable it.
Add and confirm your fingerprint.
Then, using the Automatically Lock option, set the lock to the desired time.
